ACM Guide to Computing Literature The Guide is a collection of bibliographic citations and abstracts of works published by ACM and other publishers. Citations for published ACM works are included in the Guide as a small subset of the total bibliographic space. IEEE Xplore IEEE Xplore, produced by the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, is ideal for conducting research in the field of electronics, electrical engineering, telecommunications, wireless communications, and computer engineering. It provides access to IEEE transactions, journals, magazines, conference proceedings, as well as current IEEE standards. Containing nearly 10 million records, Inspec provides coverage from over 3,800 journals, 3,000 conference proceedings as well as numerous books, dissertations, patents and reports. Inspec allows searching by keyword, author, author's affiliation, Inspec headings, Inspec classification codes and titles, and more. Coverage runs back to the mid-1960's with select coverage back to 1949.

USPTO Web Patent Database Includes information about all US patents (including utility, design, reissue, plant patents and SIR documents) from the first patent issued in 1790 to the most recent issue week. Full-text information, including the inventor's name, patent title and description, is provided for patents from 1976 to the present. Pre-1976 information is searchable only by patent number and classification.
