Searches the following databases simultaneously: Applied Social Sciences Index and Abstracts,   Sociological Abstracts,   Worldwide Political Science Abstracts,   Social Services Abstracts,  and   PAIS Online.  How to Search This Database
ISI Web of Knowledge (formerly- ISI Web of Science) provides seamless access to three citation indexes: the Science Citation Index, the Social Sciences Citation Index, and the Arts and Humanities Citation Index. These can be searched together or separately. Approximately 8,500 of the most prestigious research journals are indexed with abstracts within the Web of Science. Complete bibliographies are included for each citation allowing for cited reference searching. Social Sciences Citation Index is a multidisciplinary index with searchable author abstracts, covering journals in the social sciences (anthropology, economics, geography, law, political science, psychology and sociology) from 1956 to the present. The Cited Reference Search option in Social Sciences Citation Index allows users to find other works which reference a specific work or author.  How to Search This Database
GreenFILE GreenFILE offers well-researched information covering all aspects of human impact to the environment. The HSDL collection provides quick access to important U.S. policy documents, presidential directives, and national strategy documents as well as specialized resources such as theses and reports from various universities, organizations and local and state agencies. CQ Electronic Library Created by CQ Press, the CQ Electronic Library is an excellent resource for research in American government, politics, public policy, and current affairs and searches the online versions of CQ's periodicals and reference publications. CCH State & Federal Employment Law Compare Allows the direct comparison of state and federal employment law, including law cases, federal and state regulations, and government rulings. It also provides links to summaries or full text of state laws and highlights recent changes. Results can be printed or exported to Microsoft Word or Excel.
SAGE Research Methods Online Sage Research Methods Online (SRMO) - a comprehensive source for gathering information and assistance on research methodology, from basic terminology to complex interactive maps depicting the relationships among different types of research methods. Access hundreds of online handbooks, dictionaries and encyclopedias; the entire "Little Green Book" and "Little Blue Book" series; journal articles; and instructional videos. Includes links to free statistical software, directories of research organizations, information on research ethics, and social networking sites for academics.
World Development Report Online The World Development Report Online contains the complete text of every annual report published by the World Bank since 1978 and includes all color illustrations, charts, and tables. The World Development Report is the World Bank's major annual analytical publication with each report covering a different topic or challenge relevant to global peace, knowledge, and economic and social advancement. Access is also provided to the World Bank's online data collection which includes thousands of numerical indicators of development by country and region.
iPOLL Public Opinion Databank The iPOLL Databank is a comprehensive, up-to-date resource for US public opinion data. iPOLL datasets include over 500,000 Q & As dating from 1935 to the present. Data is drawn from academic, commercial, and media polls conducted by over 150 US survey firms, on topics ranging from economic issues, politics, and elected officials to health, lifestyles, and social issues. iPOLL is updated daily.

Full-text content of more than 8,000 issues of the weekly news magazine, The Economist, which presents the world's political, business, scientific, technological, and cultural developments and the connections between them. Each issue of this editorially-rich publication is fully searchable, and includes full-color images, exportable financial tables, and a gallery of front covers highlighting a key topic of each week. The many Supplements, Special Reports and Surveys which appear regularly in The Economist are also included as part of the archive.
Political Science (ProQuest)- Abstracts only ProQuest's Political Science Abstracts contains over 6 million records and 700,000 full-text articles from nearly 700 leading journals. It is useful for doing research on political science topics, but also for related disciplines such as international relations, public administration, economics, foreign policy, legislative studies, and ethnic and area studies. The database also contains indexing for related dissertations, government documents, conference reports, publications of international agencies, and other grey literature.
