Database of the month: The Hispanic American Periodicals Index (HAPI) is a source of information about Central and South America, Mexico, the Caribbean basin, the United States-Mexico border region, and Hispanics in the United States. HAPI contains citations to journal articles, book reviews, documents, original literary works, and other materials appearing in hundreds of social science and humanities journals published throughout the world.

Register to Vote at the Texas Secretary of State’s website. Also find the 2008 Candidate’s Guide, polling locations, election history, election results and other voting information. Your Voter Registration Application must be received in the Voter Registrar's office or postmarked 30 days before an election in order for you to be eligible to vote in that election.
Take a tour of the library and find the Group Study Rooms, the Government Documents, the Leisure Reading Collection, and much more. You can take a tour in Korean, Chinese, Russian and in Sign Language. Check the Events Calendar for times and dates of tours in English.

MC2 McDermott Management Satellite Library Reference Librarian Hours: Thursday 2:00–6:00 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday – By Appointment Data Librarian Hours: Monday and Wednesday 2:30–5:30 p.m. Bloomberg Hours: Monday through Thursday 12:00–5:00 pm Visit the Management Liaison web page for more information: http://www.utdallas.edu/library/help/somtutorials/index.htm Since opening in January of 2004, MC2 has enabled Management students to receive one-on-one research assistance from a librarian, as well as access the library's electronic resources, within the walls of the new School of Management building. The MC2 office, located in SM 2.206 (off the Undergraduate Study area), is a "virtual library" with fully-equipped computer workstations. The library liaisons for the School of Management provide reference support for MC2. Students are encouraged to visit MC2 during our office hours or contact the librarian to make an appointment 972-883-5960 or 972-883-2126, Loreen.phillips@utdallas.edu. The Program The McDermott Library Liaison Program works with UTD’s different schools of study to assist with the research needs of faculty and students. As liaisons, we will: Involve faculty as much as possible in managing the library’s collection Identify and communicate regularly regarding curriculum-specific library materials and services Facilitate faculty and student access to all library collections and services Provide general and tailored instruction sessions to faculty, research staff, classes and student groups This partnership allows for collaboration between the SOM and two liaisons, Loreen Phillips and Hillary Campbell, to ensure that faculty members are knowledgeable about the Library. We are eager to begin serving your research needs, so please feel free to call or email us at any time.
