Instructions for ScienceDirect Journals

1. Click box next to the records to export.
2. Click on Export citations at the top of the screen.
3. Select Citations or Citations+Abstracts. Select RIS FORMAT from the File Format drop down menu.
4. Click Export.
5. Click on SAVE to the desktop and use the file type as DOCUMENT.
6. In RefWorks
   1. Choose References, then IMPORT on the toolbar.
   2. Select Science Direct (RIS format) on the Import Filter/Data Source. Select ScienceDirect Navigator as the Database.
   3. Choose Import Data from the following Text File and browse the desktop for your saved text file.
   4. Click Import.
