The Eugene McDermott Library at the University of Texas at Dallas is proud to sponsor the Achieving Tenure: Celebrating Books program. This initiative recognizes the bond between the written word and the achievement of faculty members who have attained tenure. The occasion is marked by each scholar choosing a book that influenced them. The book will be added to the library collection with a personalized bookplate to celebrate their promotion. This website showcases the selected titles along with a description of the significance the book played in their lives and careers.
