Introduction

The Digital Archive is the Special Collections Department's newest method for showcasing material held in the History of Aviation Collection. Currently the Digital Archive contains photographs from the CAT/Air America Collection and the James H. Doolittle Collection. In the future more photographs, documents, sound, and film clips will be added.

From the Digital Archive you will be able to search the History of Aviation Collection's digitized images and the McDermott Library's Catalog.

Instructions for Use:

Once you have connected to the Digital Archive you will be presented with the basic search screen. To search a specific collection you will need to check the box next to the collection you are interested in, and then enter your search terms into the text box. Then click on the search button.

For more detailed searching an advanced search function is available by clicking the tab on the right side of the page. If you require further assistance, the online help function can be accessed by clicking on help at the top of the page.
