Live in the new residence hall where students participate in social events, deepen friendships and share classroom experiences. From laser tag to scavenger hunts, you'll develop friendships with likeminded individuals.
Required class experiences include
- Fall — Rhetoric 1101
- Spring — To be determined
- Both classes fulfill degree requirements
Events and Programs
- Tour the restricted-access Natural Science and Engineering Research Laboratory
- Explore the City of Richardson with city engineers and computer scientists
- Join with fellow communities to create a float for the annual Homecoming Parade
- Continue the tradition of building a unique sea-worthy vessel made of only duct tape and cardboard for the UT Dallas Cardboard Regatta
Learn from university faculty
- Dine and discuss engineering and computer science related topics in the Food for Thought Program with pre-eminent faculty, such as
- Physics of Nascar author Diandra Leslie-Pelecky, expert on condensed matter physics and nanotechnology
- Gregory Earle, researcher at the William B. Hanson Center for Space Sciences
Volunteer in the surrounding communities
- Join in a build for Habitat for Humanity and connect with the local community
- Have the opportunity to spend Spring Break on a road trip to volunteer at cities around the country
