Live in the new residence hall where students participate in social events and classroom experiences with new friends. From late-night pizza study sessions to movie nights, this community is a great way to kick start your business degree.
Required class experiences include
- Fall — Rhetoric 1101
- Spring — BA 2301 Business and Public Law
- Both classes fulfill degree requirements for business majors
Learn from industry professionals and faculty
- Work closely with Dallas industry professionals and UT Dallas management upperclassmen for job shadowing, special events, resume critiques, career planning and other opportunities through the Power of Two Mentoring Program
- Visit various businesses and organizations such as the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas
- Enjoy exclusive invitations to executive lunches with such professional organizations as Metroplex Technology Business Council, the largest technology trade association in Texas, and Society for Human Resource Management
- Dine and discuss business trends or journal articles with faculty in the Food for Thought Program
Volunteer in the surrounding communities
- Join Students in Free Enterprise for business and social events
- Partner with the School of Management Dean’s Council on their annual food drive
- Have the opportunity to spend Spring Break on a road trip to volunteer at cities around the country
