Living Learning Communities

This community is ideal for students who are interested in exploring the topic of living green and how to most efficiently utilize natural resources. Students will learn about, explore, and experience sustainability in the areas of individual wellness, global impact, political decision making, and education.

Events, Programs and Volunteer Opportunities
- Screen independent documentaries, such as:
- Enjoy trips to local farms and community gardens
- Attend Earth Day fairs on the UT Dallas campus and throughout the local communities
- Participate in on-campus green competitiions through the "Do One Thing" campaign
- Have the opportunity to spend Spring Break on a road trip to volunteer at cities around the country
- Contribute to the local communities via exclusive volunteer opportunities with organizations such as East Dallas Community Gardens, Groundwork Dallas, and UT Dallas community gardens
