Statistics Professor Involved in Collaborative Research To Develop Noninvasive Techniques to Better Diagnose Kidney Cancer
Dr. Larry P. Ammann, statistics professor at UT Dallas and Dr. Matthew Merritt at UT Southwestern are working with magnetic resonance spectroscopy, which is similar to magnetic resonance imaging. They say it could be used to diagnose malignant tumors without biopsies.
