Texas Rep. Gallego Tours, Teaches at UT Dallas

UT Dallas hosted State Rep. Pete Gallego of Alpine on Tuesday for a day of tours, briefings and lunch with President David Daniel and other university leaders. 

Rep. Gallego toured the Natural Science and Engineering Research Laboratory (NSERL) and learned about UT Dallas programs such as the Academic Bridge Program. 

Gallego also discussed higher-education issues and funding with university leaders.

The Representative concluded his visit with a lecture to Professor Greg Thielemann’s undergraduate honors course “The Modern Political Economy of Texas.”
