Chess Competitors Earn Texas Senate Seals of Approval

Sen. Florence Shapiro helped secure Texas Senate proclamations honoring the UT Dallas chess team for its success in the Pan-American Intercollegiate Chess Tournament.
Separate documents praise the "A" team, which placed first; the "B" team, which tied for second place; and the "C" t eam, which won the all-female award and Division IV title.
