Oozeball Makes a Mucky Return for Good But Not-So-Clean Fun

April 11, 2008

If it’s spring at UT Dallas, it’s time to get down and dirty with the University’s annual Oozeball Tournament.

Teams of students and faculty and staff members met Friday outside the Activity Center for the slippery game.

The theme was “Ooze, I Did It Again,” a play on the title of an album by Britney Spears, whose music played during the games.

Oozeball is a close cousin of volleyball except that the net is stretched across a surface that bears a striking resemblance to a pig’s pen.
