Flags Fly at Half-Staff in Remembrance of Jim Mattox

Flags flew lower at UT Dallas on Thursday in remembrance of former Texas Attorney General Jim Mattox, who died at age 65.
Gov. Rick Perry issued the flag order to all state-run institutions.
“The State of Texas has lost a leader with the passing of former Attorney General and United States Congressman Jim Mattox,” Perry said.
“As a mark of respect for this highly regarded leader, it seems fitting that flags be lowered immediately to half-staff.”
