The Freshman Convocation ceremony brought Welcome Week to its ritual conclusion  Sunday, capping the most extensive series of events ever planned for the start of a UT Dallas school year.

The week featured a full 80 hours of activities with all seven schools playing roles.

In addition to enjoying the movies, meals and other activities, many students gave their time for a good cause in the Viva Volunteer event.
