Family Day, Sounds of Class Bring Visitors to Campus

UT Dallas was a flurry of activity over the weekend, with visitors on campus for Family Day and Sounds of Class.
Family Day included a welcome by Dr. Gene Fitch, the new dean of students, and Grace Bielawski, the president of Student Government. After lunch in the Dining Hall and campus tours, the annual event concluded with a barbecue dinner.
Later, that evening, Sounds of Class marked its 15th year at the University. The community-wide festival included musical performances by Eddie Coker and the group Cavalcade of Stars.
