• The fall Career Expo attracted more than 4,300 students and alumni, and brought in 158 organizations seeking candidates for jobs and internships.

More than 4,300 UT Dallas students and alumni attended the fall Career Expo held Sept. 12-14 in the Activity Center.

Sponsored by the University’s Career Center, the expo brought in 158 organizations interested in recruiting students for full-time and part-time jobs as well as internships.

“The Career Expo is an amazing opportunity for our students,” said Regina James, director of the Career Center. “It’s a moment when they get to engage with employers who are here for a reason — to recruit the best and the brightest. Students and alumni get to put their best foot, their best suit and their best smile forward in 60 to 120 seconds.”

Each day of the expo was targeted to different academic majors, from STEM fields to liberal arts. Recruiters met qualified candidates, discussed their application processes and created awareness for their organizations.
