UTD To Present A Free Concert,
RICHARDSON, Texas (March 25, 2003) -The University of Texas at Dallas (UTD) will present the UTD Musica Nova ensemble in a free concert entitled Music of Five Centuries on Saturday, April 19, at 8 p.m. in the Jonsson Performance Hall (JO 2.604) on campus. Directed by UTD Composer-in-Residence Robert Xavier Rodríguez, the concert will feature UTD graduate and undergraduate students along with UTD's Jeff Lankov, pianist, and guest artists Kim Childs, tenor, and Mary Sutton, composer-pianist, performing music by Monteverdi, Beethoven, Brahms, Chopin, Massenet, Prokofiev, Gershwin, Sutton, Rodríguez and others.
