RICHARDSON, Texas (March 11, 2003) - The University of Texas at Dallas' 12th Annual Golf Tournament will be held Friday, April 25, at Sherrill Park Golf Course, 2001 East Lookout Drive in Richardson.

Last year, the tournament raised more than $18,000 for the UTD Scholarship Fund, and tourney organizers say they hope to surpass that figure this year. Since its inception, the popular event has raised more than $132,000 for student scholarships to UTD.

Awards will be given for first, second and last place, and all participants will be eligible for special drawings at the awards ceremony. Registration and lunch will start at noon on the day of the tourney, and snacks will be available throughout the day. The cost is $85 per player, and the deadline to enter is April 11. The charge includes green fees, cart, prizes and lunch. Registration will be limited to the first 150 participants.
