Dr. Robert J. Stern, professor and head of the Geosciences Department at The University of Texas at Dallas (UTD), will present a lecture entitled "Iraq's Geography (and a Little Geology)" this Friday at noon on the UTD campus. The lecture is intended to acquaint the general public with Iraq's cultural geography, landscape and water and oil resources and how they have evolved.

The lecture is free and open to the public. It will be held in Room 4.614 of the Erik Jonsson Academic Center (building number 4 on the UTD campus map at http://www.utdallas.edu/campusmap.html).
