Traffic Light Revised at Waterview and Synergy, May 2
The new traffic light for the left turn from southbound Waterview Parkway to eastbound Synergy Park Boulevard has a flashing yellow arrow, a new type of signal system for the area. The flashing yellow light signifies that a left turn is permitted but that the turning driver must yield the right of way to oncoming traffic.
Electric Work to Disrupt Traffic on Rutford Avenue, May 14
Work will start the week of May 14 to relocate the University's main electrical feed to the campus, located along Rutford Avenue between Synergy Drive Parkway in the north and the Waterview Apartments in the south. The project is expected to last six months, depending on weather conditions. Pedestrians and drivers are urged to exercise caution. Periodic lane closures should be expected, and minor traffic delays and disruptions will occur.
