Transfer Students Orientations

The University of Texas at Dallas wants to help you progress through UTD fully informed and confident about what to expect during your time here as a student.  Orientation will provide information on academic expectations, student involvement, and campus resources that will help you become a more successful student.  In addition to learning more about the campus you will have the opportunity to meet faculty, staff, and an academic adviser.  Your academic adviser will discuss majors with you, help you decide on courses, and assist you in the registration process.  Orientation will also give you the opportunity to meet other students, including Orientation Team Mentors.

Orientation Schedule

Semester that is specified below refers to the semester that the students plans on transfering to UTD.

Fall 2008

• Monday, July 28 - 8 a.m. FULL
• Monday, July 28 - 12 p.m. FULL

Location

New Student Orientations are held in the Student Union, Galaxy Rooms, SU2.602.
