ProgramsNew Student Programs offers many ways for UTD students to get involved and build their leadership skills. For more specific information about each program we offer, please click on the links below. Comet CampThe three days of Comet Camp are a time for meeting new friends, learning about UTD, reflecting on the journey ahead, and most importantly, having fun. UTD Success CampThe road to academic success at UTD begins with Success Camp. These sessions include a day of intensive learning designed to help freshmen, like you, succeed at the University. Emerging Leader ProgramThe Emerging Leader Program is designed to help you prepare for leadership roles on campus and in the community, get involved in campus life, interact with campus administrators and faculty, and make new friends. Try to reserve this time for these programs in your fall schedule. No pre-registration required. Road WarriorsRoad Warriors a series of events designed just for commuter students. We're planning events to get you involved on campus and target your special needs as a student who commutes. Road Warriors is open to all students, not just freshman! Orientation Team Mentor PositionOrientation Team Mentors (OTMs) are high-profile student leaders at UTD. OTMs help incoming students with their transition to the university and plan programs and activities. Being an OTM is a great way to learn a lot about UTD while helping others and gaining valuable leadership skills. OTM selection occurs in October & November every year. Applications for the 2007 team will be available at information sessions in September 2006. Parent & Family AssociationThe Parent & Family Association (PFA) is an avenue for family members and parents of UTD students to get information on the campus, find out about special events and important deadlines, and get resources on issues facing their college student.
