The Natural Science and Engineering Research Laboratory (NSERL) stands without peer on the UT Dallas campus. The four-story, 192,000-square-foot state-of-the-art facility cost $85 million to build and will be used, in part, to help draw scientists from across the world and from all disciplines to the labs. About one-third of the research laboratory's space is being reserved for that purpose.
Dr. Robert Wallace, a professor with joint appointments in the departments of electrical engineering and physics, conducts research in the new laboratory. His Nanoelectronics Materials Laboratory is on the fourth floor of NSERL.
