Overview
Research in theoretical aspects of solid state physics are in progress. These activities include determination of the energy band structure of solids and associated properties of color centers, vacancies and impurity atoms in crystals. Development of special mathematical methods for treating the Hartree-Fock crystal potentials and for simplifying the evolution of the matrix elements is underway.
