Overview
Elementary particles; cosmic rays; gamma-ray astrophysics; gamma-ray and neutrino detectors. Participation in the LHC (CERN) Compact Muon Solenoid (CMS) Collaboration forward muon detector design and construction.
Research Interests
My research interests at present are the following:
- Join the NOvA ( NUMI Off-Axis electron neutrino Appearance Experiment at Fermilab}Collaboration and carry out cosmic ray background simulation studies for Overburden Requirements for NOvA type Surface Detectors
- Study the safety of Large Liquid Argon Detectors such as LANNDD at Underground Sites both studies carried out in collaboration with the UCLA group.
