Overview

Elementary particles; cosmic rays; gamma-ray astrophysics; gamma-ray and neutrino detectors. Participation in the LHC (CERN) Compact Muon Solenoid (CMS) Collaboration forward muon detector design and construction.

Research Interests

My research interests at present are the following:

  1. Join the NOvA ( NUMI Off-Axis electron neutrino Appearance Experiment at Fermilab}Collaboration and carry out cosmic ray background simulation studies for Overburden Requirements for NOvA type Surface Detectors
  2. Study the safety of Large Liquid Argon Detectors such as LANNDD at Underground Sites both studies carried out in collaboration with the UCLA group.
