MAN

The USGS Global Change Research Program is a component of the U.S. Global Change Research Program (USGCRP), complementing research and observations on oceanic, atmospheric, and biological processes in other Federal agencies. USGS global change research examines terrestrial and marine processes and the natural history of global change, including the interactions between climate and the hydrologic system. The USGS documents the character of environments in the past and present, and the geological, biological, hydrological, and geochemical processes involved in environmental change.

The Chihuahuan Desert Research Institute (CDRI) is a non-profit scientific and educational organization based near Ft Davis, Texas. Its purpose is to gather information on the Chihuahuan Desert Region and to make that information available to all who would like to know. Primary interests are biology, geology, anthropology, and archeology. The Institute conducts research, provides scholarships, designs and implements educational activities, promotes the area, and produces films, publications and other media about the Chihuahuan Desert region.
