Disability Services

The law requires colleges and universities make those reasonable adjustments necessary to eliminate discrimination on the basis of disability. Instructor should adapt the course presentation to meet the unique needs of the students disabling condition.  However, adaptations of course procedures are not solely the instructors responsibility.  The student bears responsibility to make his or her abilities and limits known and to meet instructor expectations concerning attendance, class participation, performance, and work standards.  Disability Services is available to assist both students and faculty in this planning process.

For more information please go to the Disability Services Faculty Handbook.
