DID YOU KNOW that a stele (pronounced stee-lee) is an upright stone slab with an inscribed or sculptured surface, used as a monument or as a commemorative piece? The Code of Hammurabi is perhaps the most famous, on which Babylonian laws were written.

Student Exchange Programs
OIE has a variety of exchange
programs that allow UTD students an opportunity to develop
their educational and personal goals while studying
abroad. Programs identified as "Exchange"
mean that you study abroad at University "A,"
while a student from this same institution comes to
study at UTD. This exchange normally allows you to pay
a similar amount as if you were completing a semester
at UTD in terms of tuition, fees, books, and in many
cases, room and board.
UTD has exchange agreements with some of the best schools
in the world and when you go overseas, taking classes
at these premier institutions will enable you to learn
different perspectives from different cultures. Participating
in an exchange program will allow you to enhance your
foreign language and intercultural skills, as well as
establish friendships with local students and other
exchange students from around the world.
