Exchange Programs

 

      

OIE has a variety of exchange programs that allow UTD students an opportunity to develop their educational and personal goals while studying abroad. Programs identified as "Exchange" mean that you study abroad at University "A," while a student from this same institution comes to study at UTD. This exchange normally allows you to pay a similar amount as if you were completing a semester at UTD in terms of tuition, fees, books, and in many cases, room and board.


UTD has exchange agreements with some of the best schools in the world and when you go overseas, taking classes at these premier institutions will enable you to learn different perspectives from different cultures. Participating in an exchange program will allow you to enhance your foreign language and intercultural skills, as well as establish friendships with local students and other exchange students from around the world.

City University in Hong Kong


P.R. China - The City University of Hong Kong (CityU) is one of the universities in Hong Kong. The university motto is Officium et Civitas", implicating the education philosophy of the university and also its role as educating and training professionally-oriented students. The university has a community of more than 12,000 undergraduate and 3,000 postgraduate. International students account for around 5% of the student population. Originally founded as "City Polytechnic of Hong Kong" in 1984, City University of Hong Kong was granted university status on 1 January 1995. During the past 20 years, it has grown from a small institution, housed in temporary premises, offering 9 academic programmes to less than 1,000 students, to a major University with an international reputation for teaching and scholarship, enrolling over 20,000 students on programs of all levels from associate degree to postgraduate research. - Fudan University, originally called Fudan Public School, was founded in 1905 in Shanghai, now is one of the leading universities in China with a long history and an international reputation for academic excellence. The University of Kaiserslautern, who’s official name is “Technische Universität Kaiserslautern”, is a young research-oriented German university with a technology profile.
