UT Dallas Office of International Education (OIE) offers six different types of mobility for students: study abroad (third parties), exchange mobility, independent studies, internships, non-credit (student employees / others), and customized programs.

There is a specific protocol for each type of mobility, which has been designed to maximize not only the legitimacy and safety of students' international education experiences, but also to enhance their enjoyment while abroad.
