Student Employees (Teaching / Research Assistants) and Others (Non-Credit Trips for McDermott Students, Conferences, Competitions, etc)

If you are a Teaching or Research Assistant or student employee and your experience abroad is fully or partially sponsored by UTD, i.e. air ticket, hotel, conference fee, etc., you are required to complete OIE protocol.

If you are a student participating in a non-credit study abroad program, you are required to complete OIE protocol.

If you are a student representing UTD in a conference, sport competition, etc., you are required to complete OIE protocol.

1 .- Satisfaction of the UT Dallas International Education Protocol minimizes any liability issue while maximizing the safety and protection of the student during his/her travel, including medical emergencies.

2 .- Satisfaction of the protocol is a condition for travel reimbursement(s).

3 .- Satisfaction of the protocol and submission of the B14 F form (Student/Team/Group Foreign Travel Authorization) to OIE is expected at least three weeks prior student’s departure.

4 .- The Office of the Provost will not accept B 14 F forms after the fact.
