Golden Key is involved in a variety of community, social, and service activities throughout the year. Members are not required to participate in these events, but we do encourage all members to become involved in order to get the most out of their membership in the Society.

At the International level, Golden Key is involved in the following programs and events:

• America's Promise
• Make a Difference Day
• Terry Fox Run
• Annual International Service Theme

Locally, the UTD chapter of Golden Key is involved in the following activities and events:

• Sounds of Class
• Campus Awareness
• Homecoming Parade
• Canned food drives
• Clothes drives
• Medisend
• Many other service projects that vary from year to year
• Social events, including barbecues, movie nights, and ice cream socials
