Oozeball
One of UT Dallas' favorite traditions, Oozeball is a mud volleyball tournament held annually on the Oozeball courts between the soccer fields and the Phase 3 parking lot on campus. The tournament was founded by the UT Dallas Student Ambassadors in 2002 and continues to be organized by the Student Ambassadors.

OOZEBALL 2012: The Biggest Oozer

There were lots of winners and a couple of Biggest Oozers at the fall 2012 Oozeball tournament: The Biggest Oozer. The UT Dallas Student Ambassadors organized the twenty seven team tournament near the intramural soccer fields on Friday, September 28 from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. Sideline games, including wheelbarrow races and Tug of War were especially popular this year. Team Whooshers won the tournament for the second tournament in a row, and then went on to dominate against the faculty and staff team in the annual Faculty and Staff vs. Students game. Special thanks go to Diane Henry, the Student Ambassador Ooze Chair, as well as to Radio UTD for playing music throughout the day, Facilities Management for building and maintaining the Courts, Chris Cody for organizing the Faculty and Staff team, and the UT Dallas Bookstore, Off Campus Books, La Madeleine, and Raising Cane's for generously donating prizes.

The UT Dallas Student Ambassadors proudly presented the 2012 Oozeball tournament: Ooze Clues on Friday, April 20, 2012. The sixteen team tournament was held near the intramural soccer fields, with the Faculty/Staff team triumphing over the Student team in the 4 p.m. annual Faculty/Staff vs. Students match-up, and team Whooshers winning the tournament. Special thanks to Emily Lichtenheld, Student Ambassador Oozeball chair, for organizing the event and to the Facilities Management staff for their work building and maintaining the courts!
