To join Beta Alpha Psi:
Students meeting the requirements listed below must submit an application (downloaded here) during the first five weeks of the semester. Pledges may not be in their final semester at UTD.

Membership Requirements:

•  Completed a minimum of at least 30 total semester hours.

•  Completed at least one upper-level accounting course (not prior to pledging).

•  Completed at least 6 hours of accounting, of which the last three hours must have been taken at UTD.

•  Attained a cumulative grade point average in accounting courses of at least 3.00 and an overall grade point average of 3.0 where “A” is equal to 4.0.

 

 

 

Membership Fees and Continuing Dues:
There is a $60 non-refundable initiation fee and $25 dues each fall and spring semester thereafter.  

 

 

 

***ALL members and pledges must attend at least 2 of the 3 meetings as well as participate in a selected community service activity to be considered in good standing. Additionally, pledges must attend initiation in order to become a member.***
