To join Beta Alpha Psi:
Students meeting the requirements listed below must submit an application AND RESUME during the first five weeks of the semester along with the $55 initiation fee. The deadline to submit an application for the spring semester is 2/14/08.

Requirements for membership in the chapter are:

•  Have completed a minimum of at least thirty total semester hours,

•  Have completed at least one upper-level course in their major beyond the business core

•  Have completed at least six (6) hours of accounting of which the last three hours must have been taken at UTD

•  Have attained a cumulative grade point average in their major of at least 3.00 and an overall grade point average of 3.0 where “A” equal to 4.0.

Pledgeship:
Students may pledge during any fall or spring semester other than their final semester at UTD.

Initiation of Members:
All pledges that remain in good standing may be initiated at the conclusion of the pledging semester. Initiation ceremonies will be held at the end of each fall and spring semester. Attendance at the initiation is required in order to become a member.

Membership Fees and Continuing Dues:
There is a $55 non-refundable initiation fee and $15 dues each fall and spring semester thereafter.
