Transportation

In Dallas, without a car is like without legs, and I am not kidding. Nothing is within walking distance. As fun and environmental-friendly as cycling sounds, riding a bicycle under the torching Texas sun proves to be a Mission Impossible even for the most athletic persons. O.K. I am exaggerating, you would be able to last for a few minutes, I guess, but no longer than that.

The only bus that goes through UT Dallas is Bus 362, run by DART. To utilize this public transportation system, all you need is patience, good planning, and a lot of time to spare. Starting from Fall 2007, all UTD students and employees get free DART pass to ride DART buses and trains for free. Bus schedules can be found at the Student Union or DART's website.
