HUGE News:
IEEE@UTD:  "We're kind of a BIG DEAL"

This summer, the student branch website won the first place award for the yearly Region 5 website competition, and went onto place as a runner-up at the International level of judging!  This is the second time the site has won at regionals, but the first to ever place on an international scale.  Congratulations!

At the Region V conference on the weekend of April 20, 2007, IEEE@UTD was awarded the IEEE Region 5 Outstanding Large Student Branch Award!  This is the greatest honor a student chapter can receive, and we are very grateful for it!  This is the second year in a row we have received this award.
Thank you to everyone who has worked so hard this year!  We could not have done it without each and every one of you!  Now, let us make this a tradition for years to come!
