"Being both an officer
and a member of IEEE@UTD over the past 2 years has given me
priceless opportunities to interact with industry
professionals and faculty at the Erik Jonnson School. These
interactions have exposed me to new ideas, new ambitions,
and new perspectives into engineering. They have helped
motivate me by showing final results in the form of amazing
products, as well as how to be successful as an engineer in
industry. The IEEE@UTD helps make me feel connected to the
technology world all around us."

"I never dreamed I would
be here today. Wait; I take that back. I did
dream it, but never fully expected to achieve all that I
have. I owe this feeling to IEEE @ UTD. In all
honesty, I came to my first IEEE meeting for the Pizza and
because I needed to participate in something on campus for
my Freshman Rhet 1101 class. Those things got me to
come, but they are not what kept me here. Over the
past two years I have been presented so many opportunities
to better myself and to really get a handle on what I want
to do with my life. IEEE @ UTD gave me the chance to
meet fellow Electrical Engineering majors, university
faculty, staff, and members of the local industry. It
has been one of the most motivating factors of influence I
have ever encountered. I thank IEEE @ UTD for all it
has done for me!"
