Universal Virtues
The need for gathering around universal virtues is growing as the citizens of the world are increasingly concerned and affected by the global problems including violence, poverty, discrimination, lack of education and health care, drugs, and human trafficking. The globalization that has brought great opportunities, also, caused many local problems to spread to global scale. Efforts towards the solution of these problems, therefore, need to cling to universal virtues including love, tolerance, truthfulness, justice, freedom, equality, solidarity and respect for nature.
The call echoed at IDSA forced us to organize a talk&video series to emphasize the significance of gathering around universal humane virtues in hope of making a humble contribution to the solution.
