STEP 1 - Registration

If you are excited about making a movie, submit the registration form to the UTD-TV office, MC3.604, as soon as possible. Keep in mind that you don't have to have a script planned by this date; you only have to be excited about making a movie!

STEP 2 - Rough Draft Submission

We ask that you submit a rough cut of your film to the UTD-TV office, MC3.604, by noon of February 23rd, 2010. Submissions must be in DVD format.
This rough cut will serve two purposes: it will provide an estimate of the number of films participating in the festival and help the Viewing Committee (VC) regulate the quality of the submission. If the VC see a film with promise but has some production concerns(s), the VC will communicate this to the film’s director (example: poor sound quality…etc.)

STEP 3 - Film Submission

The final exhibition version of your film must be delivered to the UTD-TV office, MC3.604, by noon on March 22nd, 2010 in DVD format. You must turn in a Film Submission Form along with the final product.

STEP 4 - Film Maker’s Reception, Festival and Awards Ceremony

Check the Meteor Theater website for dates, times and location of the Film maker’s reception, Cosmic Film Festival and Awards Ceremony. Awards for best films in each category will be given by a panel of judges. The People Choice Award will be selected by the audience.
