Welcome to the UTDallas Chapter of the National Society of Black Enginneers!!!!!

Believe it or not, NSBE was a nonexistent organization on the UTDallas campus prior to the fall 2007 semester. However, with the aid of the DFW NSBE Alumni Chapter and The Erik Jonsson School of Engineering & Computer Science, we were able to bring NSBE back to UTDallas this past fall. We had quite an eventful four months and were able to accomplish more than we imagined possible for such a new and inexperienced organization.

We successfully hosted NSBE 's 12th Annual Try-Math-A-Lon Competition, in which teams of high school students competed in categories ranging from H.S. Algebra to College Math. We also sent a delegation to the Annual Regional 5 Conference, where I was privileged to receive the Chapter President of the Year Award!!!! Still, the most astonishing achievement of our chapter remains to be the rapid increase in growth. We started out with no members and ended the semester with 30 paid, active members

As you can tell, I am very proud of the UTDallas Chapter of NSBE . With the participation and support of members like you, the sky truly is the limit.
