Serge buys a very modern, very expensive painting. Marc thinks the painting is ridiculous and is appalled at Serge’s behavior. Yvan wants to resolve the argument while his life comes apart around him. Art humorously explores both the nature of art and the nature of friendship in a modern context, asking: Are you who you think you are or who your friends think you are?
