President
The president is the figure head of the organization. They need to attend all Rat PAC events and meetings and also need to attend as many other on-campus events as possible. The key to being a successful president is showing that you are involved in campus life, so that people see the Rat PAC presence around campus. The president is also in charge of filling out all official SOF paperwork. The president leads the meetings and is ultimately responsible for the success of all projects and meetings. The president leads the council. It is the president's job to delegate work to other council members and to make sure that everything gets done. The president also plays a key role in recruiting new members and soliciting applications for plays, prior to the start of a new season. It is also the job of the president to ensure that every play in the season has a play advisor. In short, the president must be ready and willing to pick up any slack at all times. They are the leader, the motivator, and the face of the club.

Vice President
The vice president’s main function is to pick up any other presidential responsibilities that the president does not have the time to take care of. The second job of the vice president is to help keep the club on track, organized and headed toward a specific goal year round. The vice president has to be ready to solve any problems without stepping outside of the system. It is job of the vice president to make sure that the council system is working. If there is a problem that is not being addressed by the current system of government, it is the vice president’s job to call a council meeting to address the issue and create a solution with the rest of the council. The vice president is basically an extension of the president to relieve the pressure.

Secretary
The secretary keeps the paperwork organized and keeps up with all the club information and statistics. The secretary is in charge of all the required paperwork to acquire spaces, permission, and assistance with events of all types. The secretary is also in charge of taking down minutes at every meeting. The secretary is also responsible for any forms or paperwork that needs to be handed out at the meetings. The secretary is in charge of any official correspondence, letter heads, business cards, and other official Rat PAC documents. And lastly, the secretary is responsible for keeping The Rat PAC Handbook up to date, as well as keeping track of all the minutes from meetings, important emails, and other information. The secretary is keeper of The Accumulation of All Rat PAC Knowledge.

Treasurer
The treasurer keeps track of receipts, ledgers and other budget related documents up to date. The treasurer keeps the Rat PAC Credit Card and communicates between the bank and the collective. The treasurer covers every financial need and prevents monetary problems. The treasurer needs to know how to manage a budget and be able to suggest cheaper methods of accomplishing any task. The treasurer is responsible for telling people that they must come up with their own money if they go over budget, no matter what their situation is. The treasurer also gets the fun jobs like planning receptions and getting to go shopping with designers. The treasurer is also in charge of the concession stand during performances. The treasurer must also have an address where they are able to receive mail regularly and have internet access in order to check on the account when needed.

Historian
The historian is responsible for documenting all the Rat PAC events. This includes taking pictures, getting the names of all the people who helped with an event, the number of people who attended each event, money raised, money spent and other important statistics. The historian is responsible for compiling all the event information, including pictures, and making sure the secretary gets it. This requires that the historian have access to a camera and can create an organized statistic report for each event.

Webmaster
The webmaster must have the skills required to keep the Rat PAC website up to date with pictures, show information, important news and other information. While passion for web editing is not a requirement, a passion for the Rat PAC website is. The webmaster should always be looking for new, more interesting ways of improving the website, including animation, e-mailing through the webpage, java script interactivity, and other new and innovate ideas. Creativity is a must.

Publicity Director
The publicity director is responsible for informing the world about the phenomenon that is The Rat PAC at The University of Texas at Dallas. The publicity director is in charge of all flyers, ads, announcements, and other forms of publicity. While the publicity director does not have to create or distribute event flyers, they are responsible for proof reading and approving all flyers that are connected with The Rat PAC. The creation and distribution of any non-event publicity, such as meeting announcements, recruitment flyers and Rat PAC Party invitations, are the responsibility of the publicity director. The publicity director should know all the requirements for student organization publicity as well as show dates and times and should be available to answer any questions regarding them.
