Our Mission

     Ever since its creation in March of 2001, our organization has searched for ways in which it can benefit our university and its students.
      Our founders knew that UTD was one of the best institutions for the study of Engineering. They made the prosperity of this field and the maintenance of UTD's reputation for excellence our organization's driving goal. Thus the service of the university's student population became our number one priority.
     We received our charter in September of 2001 from the Texas Society of Professional Engineers and have since come to embrace their and the national society's ideals. Their commitment to the protection of ethics in the engineering field and the advancement of engineers proved to be our true calling.

At UTD, we hope to serve our fellow students and friends by helping them learn their subjects, excel in their classes, and become informed about the different avenues available to them as an engineer.

There is a great calling to be an engineer today. The engineer's duty is to make life simpler for our fellow human beings through the sheer power of creation. Yesterday, engineers created the technologies that we use and take for granted. Today, we will learn how to create the devices that make life just a little bit easier for the future. After all, we are Engineers... We design tomorrow.
