History
Trident Pistol Team was formed by me in 1991. It was the only collegiate team that actually consisted of students from three schools: Collin County Community College, The University of North Texas and The University of Texas at Dallas. The purpose for using students from all three schools was due in part that the University of Texas at Dallas had just started admitting freshman and sophomores into the school and therefore a depth of experienced competitors was impossible. Collin County Community College had the opposite problem of having only freshman and sophomores which fed into both the University of Texas at Dallas and the University of North Texas. Thus it was decided to use students from all three schools, hence the name Trident. Trident Pistol Team had no school monetary support and yet had an extremely competitive team. The team was dissolved in 1995 after the last member graduated. Below are a listing of placements that the team and my individual placements received in it's brief history.
