The University of Texas at Arlington Pistol Team 1989 - 1991
History
The University of Texas at Arlington Pistol Team went from being a ROTC program in the 1960's to having no cadets on the team in the 1990's. In 1984 UT-Arlington won Collegiate Nationals, went to Collegiate Nationals again in 1988 and went to Collegiate Nationals in 1991 for Free Pistol - Team. The school decided not to fund the team in 1989 and 1991. This proved to be too much, and finally in 1993 the team was disbanded, the range was, and had been in disrepair, and the school equipment was sold. Below are the placements for 1990 - 1991 for when I was on the team.
