How to Ride

Comet Cabs, a complimentary shuttle service, operate from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., Monday through Friday. We currently operate on a continuous loop, featuring two routes:

  • The E-Parking Route, which runs from the walkway between the remote E-Parking areas of parking Lots A and B*, travels southwest to the Green Hall bridge*, continues south to the McDermott Library walkway*, then further south into parking Lot Q*, which serves the Naveen Jindal School of Management, before returning.

  • The Resident Hall Route, which runs from the Resident Hall North Lot, serving both RHW & RHN along with Parking Lot T, then travels east on Loop Rd, and continues south down Rutford Ave., serving all University Buildings along Rutford Ave. The route then continues east onto Drive A and ends in the Activity Center north road inlet before returning on the same route.
  • The service operates as a convenience to the campus community and not as a regularly scheduled mode of transportation. Unlike the 883 & 884 Comet Cruiser bus service, Comet Cabs may be waved down to stop and pick up or drop off passengers anywhere along its circuit.
