Timesheets

Each department must submit hours worked, leave taken, and comp time earned for all applicable employees within their department. See below for links to blank copies of the various types of time recap sheets. If you have any questions about which recap sheet to use, please contact us at payroll@utdallas.edu.

Type

Description

Large Monthly This recap form is for departments with more than 40 employees paid on a monthly basis to report vacation, sick, and comp time.
Small Monthly This recap form is for departments with 40 or less employees paid on a monthly basis to report vacation, sick, and comp time.
Monthly Adjustment Form This form is to report time for an employee paid on a monthly basis who was not included in the recap sheet for the related pay period.
Large Semi-Monthly This recap form is for departments with more than 40 employees paid on a semi-monthly basis to report working hours, and vacation or sick time taken.
Small Semi-Monthly This recap form is for departments with 40 or less employees paid on a semi-monthly basis to report working hours, and vacation or sick time taken.
Semi-Monthly Adjustment Form This form is to report time for an employee paid on a semi-monthly basis who was not included in the recap sheet for the related pay period.

Employees should track their hours worked, leave taken, and comp time earned for the department’s records as requested by the department. See below for links to the various types of time sheets.

Type

Description

Monthly Exempt Timesheet  This timesheet is for exempt employees to track their vacation and sick time used. It has formulas to populate dates and calculate hours and is intended to be filled in via a computer.
Monthly Exempt Blank Timesheet This timesheet is for exempt employees to track their vacation and sick time used. It does not contain formulas and is intended to be printed out and filled in by hand.
Monthly Non-Exempt Timesheet  This timesheet is for non-exempt employees to track their hours worked, vacation and sick time used, and comp time earned as applicable. It has formulas to populate dates and calculate hours and is intended to be filled in via a computer.
Monthly Non-Exempt Blank Timesheet This timesheet is for non-exempt employees to track their hours worked, vacation and sick time used, and comp time earned as applicable. It does not contain formulas and is intended to be printed out and filled in by hand.
Semi-Monthly Non-Exempt Timesheet  This timesheet is for semi-monthly employees to track their hours worked. It has formulas to populate dates and calculate hours and is intended to be filled in via a computer.
Semi-Monthly Non-Exempt Blank Timesheet This timesheet is for semi-monthly employees to track their hours worked. It does not contain formulas and is intended to be printed out and filled in by hand.
