Duncanville Post #886:
Duncanville Law Enforcement Explorer Post #886 was formed in 1989. In 1990, Officer Doug Sisk and Officer Cindy Greiman took over the Advisor duties of the post. Since Post 886's inception, the post has participated in every National Competition, except Atlanta 2000. Post 886 has won multiple trophies at a variety of competitions since 1990. Post 886 conducts internal training on the 2nd and 4th Monday evening of the month. They also hold all day Saturday training day each month. They have participated in external training conducted by Plano PD, Waxahachie PD, Irving PD, and other agencies. Post members participate in multiple community service projects annually. Post members assist Duncanville Police Officers with traffic control at the City's annual 4th of July parade, Christmas parade, and soccer tournament. Duncanville hosted the 2000 and 2001 TLEEAA Metroplex Competition. Post Advisors have held TLEEAA Board positions and have assisted with other competitions. Former Duncanville Explorers have gone on to join the military, become Police Officers, and have obtained college degrees in Criminal Justice, Economics, and Agriculture Management, among others.
