Old Business:

 

Leadership seminar rescheduled for January 22^nd, Saturday.  Alternate date, first Saturday in February.

 

Treasurers Report:

Problem with server, Seth has no control over the program.  He is unable to fix it currently.  The server will have to correct it.  Roger Stearns will be contacting Larry Smith with Dallas PD to see where he is with the new server and website.

 

Advisor Seminar

            October 11^th-15^th in Houston at the Police Academy.  Several instructors are still needed for the seminar.  Brad Johnson does have the outlines from previous classes that can be used.  Boy Scout Administration has conference rooms that could be used for the seminar.  Form will be placed on the website for registration.

 

            San Antonio will be a considered site for next years Advisor Seminar.

 

New Business:

 

Circle 10

            Shannon Brazzell, new Explorer Executive with the Council.

            Dallas After Dark, Friday, September 24^th.  Texas Ranger game, Dallas Museum of Natural History, Studio Movie Grill, Ice Skating at Stonebriar Centre and DFW Airport Fire Department.

 

Let BSA know when you are planning your first nighter, they would like to attend. 

 

Competitions going on throughout the state.  Pearland competition will be October 23.  pearlandexplorers411@ev1.net, Cpl. Lopez.

Information under forms.  Bay City, July 15-17 $150.00 per person, includes:  hotel, all meals, dance and competition.  Last week in July , Tyler Explorer Academy, registration forms will be available in October.

 

TLEEAA will try and get updated e-mail addresses so registration for the next competition can be sent.

 

When should registrations be sent out for the next competition?  E-mails will be sent out and then in January, the forms will be available.

 

Nationals

            Plano PD did well in the couple of events they participated in.

            Dallas PD also did well in some of their events.
